In October 2008, Habib Umar bin Hafiz delivered a keynote presentation in a seminar on the future of the mosque in Britain: “The Mosque of the Prophet : Lessons for Our Times.”
The seminar was aimed at imams and scholars; scholars-in-training; members of mosque committees; Muslim chaplains working in prisons, hospitals and universities; community activists; youth leaders; frontline workers and council staff working with Muslim communities in the UK.
